Depending on the setup of the workflow, a user can choose to automatically add an action when a predecessor action is complete or specific amount of time has passed.

The Workflow Designer allows users to set up a series of steps with associated actions that can be assigned to specified fundraisers. Use Workflow Designer to automate everyday activities. Again, you can quickly and easily access the donor’s contact information from one screen. Create a gift list filtered on a specified gift amount within a given timeframe. Perhaps you need to make thank you calls to donors who have given over a certain amount this week. You’ll have access to their contact information and the ability to create actions all from one screen. Do you need to make touch-point calls to your prospects? Create a static query of your prospects and pair with a constituent list to easily accomplish this task. Some examples of lists users can build are constituents, actions, opportunities, and gifts. More advanced users can make lists more powerful by using them in combination with static queries to fine-tune their selections. The filtering options in lists make it easy for users at all levels to search for and access the data they need without the extensive training typically required to use queries. Similar to queries, lists offer a way for users to group selected records together and easily accomplish tasks from one screen.
